There is a rapid succession of very contrasting periods that appear to have been conducive to the harmonious growth of vegetation and grapes.
After a mild and sunny January, a grey and icy February follows. Temperatures dropping rapidly to -20° for some sectors are a cause for fear of the worst. Spring was also uneven. The month of April is a sign of renewal, with temperatures rising rapidly to 26°. A propitious time was then established and flowering began in the best auspices. The rains that preceded the harvest could have been fatal if the freshness and the wind of the north had not dried and cleaned the grapes.
The beginning of the harvest, on September 21, allowed to obtain an exceptional maturity of the grapes.
